  •  Skinless chicken
  •  4 tbsp. thick simple yoghurt
  •  4 tbsp. green coriander
  •  1 tbsp. lemon juice
  •  2 tsp. garlic paste
  •  2 tsp. ginger paste
  • 1/2 tsp. turmeric powder
  • 1/2 tsp. garam masala
  • 1/2 tsp. cumin powder
  •  3/4 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. red chili powder
  • 1 green chili
  • 1 tbsp. oil or butter


 Clean the chicken quarters and make some shallow slits on every piece. Pat dry and set aside. In a blender, blend the yoghurt, green coriander, lemon, ginger, garlic, green chili, chili powder, turmeric, garam masala, cumin powder and salt. Blitz to combine. Apply this on the chicken. Cover and refrigerate for at the least 2 hours or as much as overnight. Remove the chicken from the refrigerator half an hour earlier than starting to cook. Put a cord mesh or steamer in a pan over simmering water. Place the chicken at the steamer and cover the pan. Allow to steam for approximately 25-30 minutes over medium heat. Remove, cover and allow the chicken settle down for approximately 10-15 minutes. You can smoke the chicken at this factor in case you need it to have a pleasing smoky aroma. Heat the 1 tbsp. of oil or butter in a pan after which gently fry the chicken simply to provide it an amazing color. This step is optional.
